Today, I was in a shoe store. I picked up a shoe so I could look at it, but when I put it back on the shelf, the whole shelf fell down, making all the shoes fall to the ground. The people behind the counter started clapping. FML

We applaud at things like that in the store I work at too, hopefully the people we clap at though arnt getting this butthurt over it.

You're dumb..... The people at the store were clapping because they were pissed off at the fact they'll have to pick it up : Good Job! Thanks a lot! Now we have 30 mins to spend on this, YAY (sarcasm used) This said, I feel bad for the OP. YES, she won't have to pick them up, but she probably did, cause they were all looking at her and leaving would of been rude. On second thought though, the fact that they clapped rudely towards OP should give her the right to leave it this way, and say : You're rude to a customer? I'll be rude to you. Stop saying OP's whining for nothing, it's really embarassing when some douche points out rudely that you did something MINOR unpurposely (like dropping several shoes on the floor). OP didn't deserve to get yelled at, she made something fall, big deal. It ain't broken. The bastards clapping are probably lil asses getting paid 5$ an hour and not being happy doing their job, serving customers. FYL, OP.

Everyone who says to remember who'll have to pick up is right!!! So dont worry friend you'll have your laugh last as you have some new shoes and those idiots are tediously pickin up shoes that they most likely cant even afford!!
