Today, I was in a shoe store. I picked up a shoe so I could look at it, but when I put it back on the shelf, the whole shelf fell down, making all the shoes fall to the ground. The people behind the counter started clapping. FML

Today, at work, I went to place a small item on a shelf. The shelf fell on me, trapping my hand. While lifting it, the top shelf fell against my chest and the products all dumped on my face. I then realized the shelves were only held up by zip ties. FML

Today, as I was stood on an escalator, my shoelace got caught in the step. Panicking, I tried to pull it out, but my shoe came off. I had to awkwardly hop back down the escalator to retrieve it while everyone around me in the mall watched. FML

Today, I was trying on clothes in a store that had just screens set up for changing. As I took off the first pair of pants had I tried on, my foot got hooked in the cuff and I fell out in my underwear in front of the whole store. FML

Today, while working at Walmart, I was walking the sales floor and passed the end of an aisle. I saw a customer coming at me from the corner of my eye, so I jumped backwards. I hit a display case, and watched it topple over before turning to apologize to the customer. It was a ladder. FML

Ouch. So the shoe was the straw that broke the camel's back... or in this case, maybe yours. You can sue for that if you got hurt, you know. Also, it's not an FML since it's not primarily your fault - it's the store's shoddy equipment, not yours.

The poeople behind the counter ARE THE IDIOTS, big time! She didn't do it on purpose and why the **** do they have cheap shelves in a shoe store? Or may be they are so dumb that they can't even build the shelves right. Either way, what they failed to realize is that if she had gotten hurt by the shelve falling on her (if it had), they could eventually end up in court being sued. They should be thankfull that no one got hurt. Idiots!

Which was probably their own fault anyway. If placing a shoe back onto a shelf caused it to collapse, it was put together improperly in the first place.
