Today, I was in a shoe store. I picked up a shoe so I could look at it, but when I put it back on the shelf, the whole shelf fell down, making all the shoes fall to the ground. The people behind the counter started clapping. FML

"ooo is that the thing where u get bumps.....on your frog legs" that made me crack up lol

hahaha reminds me of my old school where they were stupid enough to use glass plates in the cafeteria for lunch, every now and then someone would break a plate which would crash and everyone would clap and cheer lolz

my school did that too! Every lunch people were just waiting for somebody to break it, they always did

today, at my shoe store, this fat chick could go through the lane where we kept the womens she. we tried to tell her but she wouldn't listen. as she went through the lane, she knocked over 100s of shoes for me to pick up. fml

In Britain if you do something stupid or destructive or anything in public you WILL be clapped, or face a torrent of "WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" and then you feel a bit of a tool and get on with your life.

it's true, and the classic "she fell over" is popular in GB!

*sees number 4 and shakes fist in anger* I was gonna make that reference! These shoes rule, these shoes suck.

Yeah, do anything silly in Britain and you can guarantee someone will make fun of you for it. Oh well, it's all a laugh in the end though. :p

i bet that shelf has been falling down frequently, and the employees decided to clap for whoever knocks it down- sounds like something my co-workers from when I was in high school and worked in retail would have done if we had a loose shelf. As long as you weren't hurt, I would have just laughed, apologized, and went on my way- just be glad it was shoes and not something fragile, which would have broken and cost you a fortune!
