Today, I was in line at the store behind a lady and her young daughter. Trying to be polite I smiled at the little girl. She burst into tears asking her mommy 'what is wrong with that ladies teeth'. Apparently braces on a 25 year old is not 'kid friendly'. FML

You should have started laughing maniacally saying "I'M GOING TO EAT YOU UP, LITTLE GIRL".

She probably thought you were gonna eat her or something

Hm, I always thought that scaring children is one of the few advantages of having braces later in life.

lol 15 is that a fetish of somesort whaaa?

Hardly an FML. The kid had probably never seen braces before so got scared because she didn't know what they were. She'll get over it and you'll have lovely straight teeth

i would cry if i saw a 25 year old girl with braces too, YDI for having braces at 25

There Is something called Invisalign u shout check it out!!!!!!!!

You should've gotten them when you were in your teens, instead of waiting until you're 25.

What if her parents couldn't afford them? That's a stupid comment. =/ I say OP deserves it for smiling at bratty kids. xD

There are many dental reasons why people can't get braces in their teens! I'm an example of this, my teeth didn't grow fast enough. I'm 19 and although I have recently lost my last baby tooth, I still don't have all of my adult teeth!

lawl, if a kid cries and it's a "fml" moment, you're going to be one sad person.
