#58, (BTW I drive manual) one could argue that the advantages of manual transmission (handles more power, faster, gas mileage etc) no longer exist with new auto trannys. Many are faster now, and I've heard of some, I think BMW, in which fuel economy is better with auto. But I do agree that in an auto you are not DRIVING the car, just riding in it.
oooo..that sucks...so, what happened in the end??...totaled??
Please tell me this is in Eugene! Subi love all around..
Subie Love!! Hopefully there wasn't too much damage. :-( especially to the engine. They AREN'T cheap to fix, I know WRX's aren't anyway. Ahem, and everyone that's talking shit about subies get in one and drive it you'll change your mind. My boyfriends WRX had $10,000 under the hood and was pushing 18 psi, you could hit the pin and keep going faster. Not to mention and can do that in any weather on any road! AWD rocks.
AHHH! I totally knew this was in Eugene. But wait, you drive a Subaru in South Eugene and you shop at Safeway instead of Wild Oats or Market of Choice? What kind of hippie are you?! It's still a Subaru, and it still sucks. I don't give a shit how "fast" an sTi is and how much cheaper it is compared to an Audi or Infinity... you still look like you're trying to be cast as an extra in the upcoming Fast & Furious movie.

Wow, that is awesome! One time a student at my university did the same thing in the parking lot of our library. It was about to roll into another car. They had to announce it repeatedly over the intercom so I'm guessing it didn't end well.
Wow how did you manage to do something like that?! YDI.
