Today, I was informed that I had to repeat a freshman course that I aced because of a glitch in the system. I'm a senior now. FML

it's college. I tried to work it out so that I only did the exams but they rejected my request. about four months of doing paperwork and trying to solve the problem down the drain. :/

At least you know you can pass it again. In future, keep a look out for anything you would consider to be dejá vu, because that means there's a glitch in the Matrix, and you'll have to do the course a third time.

I read an article about this is legal fleecing scam done by some colleges depending on where you live you'll need to get legal help as long as you have physical proof you passed the course🤔🙄😒

You’ll be able to crush it and knock some of those uppity freshmen down a few pegs!

High school or college? Depending on rules, you could take the final exam for the course instead of having to repeat it. Definitely go to the school officials to see if you can just take the final exam!

sue. you shouldn't have to pay to take the course again when its the schools or the teachers fault

Did they refund you the cost of the course that they somehow erased your grade from? Because a nice public lawsuit threat might change their minds. In general, this is one where you need to publicly shame this school. A few headlines about how students should beware of this school- you pay for the course, take it, ace it and then they erase your credits!- should punish them.

Do you have any documentation that proves you passed the course?

Not all schools offer all classes online. If I’m not mistaken, only one of my engineering classes was offered online. The rest I had to be physically present for. I only graduated 3 years ago so it’s not like I was there pre internet era or anything.

don't you have any of your previous transcripts from freshman year? My University would give me a new transcript each semester with all of my grades on it. if you can prove you aced the course from looking at an old transcript, shouldn't that be enough?

Sue them! It is their fault, not yours!
