#2, you actually do need an internet connection when installing it, trust me, i didn't have one and it pissed me off for an hour and this happened to my friend's touch last week (he installed a torrented version of the new software and BOOM, brick touch)

Well he deserved it for expecting a pirated copy of software to be as good as the real thing. I'm all for pirating (I have a 40 item queue in uTorrent right now) but that doesn't mean someone should pirate something like this.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! You're probably the 50th person to ever say this. Every freaking FML that involves an iPhone, some 20 doucebags have to comment thinking they're being funny, saying "YDI for having an iPhone" which if you think about it isn't funny and makes no sense.
