I have the same problem. In fact, I've even turned off an alarm clock that's across the room from me without waking up. I suggest either a clock radio that's very loud or set to music you dislike, or have an actual person wake you up. Of course getting plenty of sleep helps too.
This used to happen to me almost every morning. One time when I was in high school, my mom came to wake me up and I had an entire conversation with her while I was still asleep. I went to see a specialist and they put me on melatonin capsules. Now I actually wake up.
I've done that before- try placing it on the other side of the room so you need to get up to turn it off.
I used to do that too. Now it has gotten to the point where I skip class by turning it off intentionally.
i do that too!!! it s*cks!!!
i do the same thing....the across the room alarm thing doesnt work btw lol

I do that ALL the time. What you need to do is set the one by your bed (the one I assume you are turning off), and then set another one across the room about five minutes later so you have to get up and turn it off. Between the two of them and having to walk across the room, it should wake you up. If it doesn't, set another across the room.
Whoa.
