i do that too!!! it's so weird
A lot of us do that. I never taped myself, but i figured I do the same, and it's weird, when u wake up and realize for some reason your alarm went off.. but try putting it like under the bed, if u do try to turn it off in your sleep u might fall off the bed and then wake up :3
Seriously, it amazes me that people have such a hard time waking up. Alarm clocks that run away, helicopters, FFS. Get on a regular sleep schedule and it won't be an issue.
omg that would happen to me if I put the alarm in arm's reach.. I put it on my desk now so that I have to get up :|
Whoa.... Thats a pretty stellar talent!!
I used to have the same problem. The trick for me was changing the alarm sound every few weeks/months. The novelty of it will make you legitimately wake up. Otherwise your body makes an automatic response, so you don't even have to wake up.
I do that to
Buy multiple alarms and place it all over your room. That should help. Also change up on the sounds

I do that ALL the time. What you need to do is set the one by your bed (the one I assume you are turning off), and then set another one across the room about five minutes later so you have to get up and turn it off. Between the two of them and having to walk across the room, it should wake you up. If it doesn't, set another across the room.
Whoa.
