Today, I was laughing at a girl who really sucks at badminton. Turns out she has anger issues, and a really good aim when she's mad. I've never been hit so hard in the crotch before. FML

Today, I was showing some new karate moves in the park to my friends. I mimed a punch behind a girl walking past to show my technique and control, but she must have seen me. She turned around and kicked me in the stomach. To add insult to injury, her technique was better than mine. FML

Today, we sparred for Tae Kwon Do. I forgot my cup, but I didn't think anyone sucked enough to hit me below the belt. 5 seconds into a match, some girl knees me in the happy sacks. After writhing in pain for 30 seconds, I got back up to spar. I didn't think she sucked enough to do it again. She did. FML

Today, while playing badminton at school, I got an opponent who is mentally handicapped. Since I'm terrible at the game, I guess the teacher assumed it would be a good match. I won the match, my first victory ever. My teacher accused me of cheating to humiliate him. FML

I do, because contrary to popular belief, it's an actual sports. I'm not talking about people going outside and hitting the shuttlecock back and forth - that's about the same thing as calling passing a (european) football to each other playing football.

No, Tuffay. Do you also see tennis as "just hitting a ball back and forth" or hockey as passing the puck back and forth? As with many sports, that's not the goal of badminton. The goal is to make sure your opponent can't return the shuttlecock aka to score. I don't get why people get so condescending about badminton but not about tennis. Badminton is just a faster, more explosive version of a similar concept.

Believe me, a good smash can be very hard to dodge, especially when aimed directly for the body. If OP would have been good, though, he'd have been in a defensive position (with the racket in front of his body) whenever she got a chance to smash, and returning the smash should have been no problem.
