Today, I was loading a very large box into my hatchback. I was really struggling, and a few people walked by and laughed. Then a car pulled up and waited for the spot. There isn't a spring to hold my trunk open, so it slammed onto my head. Twice. The car honked for me to hurry up. FML

wow. people can be real assholes hey. FYL OP.

I don't see what's wrong with waiting for someone's spot (that's the only way you can guarantee you'll get it, especially if it's super busy) as long as you're not a dick about it. Some people get overly indignant about this and I don't understand what the problem is as long as you're being polite. But I agree with everyone who said to just flip the guy off and leave your car parked...

Just to piss them off, I would have finished putting the box in and then go back into the store. I love the looks of people who sat there blocking traffic waiting for a spot, and then can't get it lol.

Get some help. Duh. Screw the driver — it's not your responsibility to oblige him. Ignore him. Better yet, you could've yelled at him that if he wanted your spot, he could help you. It's not your fault that he's a dumbass.

You should have left your car there so he couldn't take the spot.

You should have knocked on his window and asked if he wanted your spot. When he said yes, you say it'll only be a few more seconds. Then mess with the box until he just started to pull away and jump in your car and leave.

What a douchewibler that driver is. You should have flipped him the bird and just sat in your car =)

No one has the decency to help others anymore, and in the case of the asshole waiting for the parking spot, there's WAY too many people who think the whole world revolves around them and that others should bend to their needs. I don't own a car, but I have experienced a situation where some asshole in a hummer followed me through an entire Wal-Mart parking lot, waiting for 'my' parking space. ONLY when he watched me walk onto the sidewalk on the other side (with places like Gamestop, T-Mobile and some random shoe store) and unlock my bike did he figure out he was stalking me for nothing. Still, he had the gull to call me a "Broke-ass Bitch" before driving off and flipping me off.
