Today, I was looking in the refrigerator for the chicken I bought four days ago. I finally found it - not in the refrigerator, not in the freezer, but in the trunk of my car, which now smells like a dead animal. FML

Today, we found out the god-awful smell in our truck was actually coming from the whole uncooked chicken I thought the store forgot to ring up over 2 weeks ago. It had fallen out of the bag and under the passenger seat. FML

Today, I realized that my two year-old likes to help with the groceries. And by help, I mean hide a bag of chicken. It's been two weeks since I went grocery shopping and I still can't find it, but it smells like something died in my house. FML

Today, I found the carcass of the frog that got into my house last week. It was a horrifying sight, but not nearly as horrifying as the fact that I found it in my refrigerator. No, I don't know how it got in there either. FML

Today, I found out my ex-husband left the fridge full of rotting meat in the house that I'm selling. I turned off the power to the house in March. Now the whole house stinks, and I had to have the fridge professionally removed and the kitchen cleaned because buyers are coming to look at it tomorrow. FML

Today, it was a little colder than it should be for this time of year, and as a result I was using the heater in my car. Apparently within the last four months, a mouse managed to make his way into my heater vent and die. I can not get the smell of death out of my car. FML

Ok I agree that that nasty smell must be very annoying but I think that OP is making a really big deal out of it I mean you don't need to Fyl just because of a bad smell! Gee, I wounder what you would do if someone stole your car or something. it's just a bad smell just clean it off....

the species of trunkens hide in the dark and when scared the expel a horrid smell.. yeaaaaah I'n bored =p but honestly how could you forget groceries i'n the trunk? most wouldve noticed when putting the others away,and probably check if they forgot anything.. so you get a YDI on this one..

That's... definitely not how it works. And rotting milk smells a lot worse, quicker. If you wanna play a prank on someone, hide a cup of milk in their room. This works especially well if they go away on a trip and come back to that smell.

FYL--happened to me once. Bought a bunch of groceries and it must have fallen out way in the back of the trunk. I didn't notice anything until I brought my dog in the car...all of a sudden I smelled a faint, terrible odor. I thought it was him....I looked everywhere for a "present," but found nothing. Seriously, I searched that whole car and it took my well over a month to look in the trunk and go, "OH...CRAP."
