Probably a mistake. All it really means is that the yearbook committee at your school is slow.
Why didn't you discover this sooner? Unless you just got it. But it doesn't really mean anything, honestly.
In the big scheme of things, it's all pretty meaningless. High school becomes less and less important as the years go by. However, it's pretty crappy all the same. I'm surprised you didn't catch it sooner.
At least you're in it. The people who knew you will recognize you, so it's an okay situation if you think on the brightside.
Yearbook committees suck. They put my picture in there twice, and had two different names. The first one they spelled my name wrong, and the second one said I was "Connor Wells"... and I'm a girl :3 At least I only paid $15 for it. I go to a small school :) which makes it even more retarded that the yearbook committee could get things that wrong o_O
How is your prom that early in the school year where your picture was taken for the yearbook? Don't proms usually happen at the end of the school year? After yearbooks are handed out? I don't mean to sound like a dick but how early is your prom?
At my high school, they mailed the yearbook to the graduating seniors, and everybody else got there's at registration for the NEXT school year. middle school yearbooks, I can understand being given out early, as there isn't anything major late in the year, but in high school Graduation and Prom are usually covered by the yearbook because of how momentous they are.

That is just sad..
Ah well. So you weren't that popular in high school... Who cares? College is so much better anyway.
