What's with all the people saying the OP deserved it? It's a very shocking and embarrassing situation, and if you've not previously thought about how you'd deal with it (and who would?), I can well imagine that it took her some time to work out what was going on (you don't want to falsely accuse someone), and then to work up the courage to do something about it. It's completely not her fault that some skeezy old man was disgusting - the responsibility is on HIM to act appropriately and not commit sexual assault!
