By Treats For Days - 19/07/2013 13:54 - Canada - Medicine Hat

Today, I was on drive-thru where I work. Our policy is that we can give free treats to dogs that come through. A woman came in and I noticed her dog. Without a thought, I grabbed a treat and asked if her dog wanted one. I looked again. The 'dog' was her daughter. FML

Either that was a rather hairy/ugly child or you are in desperate need of an eye exam. Good for you on being dog friendly though.

Ever seen those people that look like their pets? Perhaps mistaken for a curly hair poodle?

Im really sorry.. see** its a pet preeve of mine when people say seen instead of saw or see

But Creedence Clearwater Revival wants to know "Have You Ever Seen the Rain"?

Even if the child did look like a dog, wouldn't you have noticed that the child was wearing clothes & was in a car seat/seat belt? These days some people do dress their dogs in clothes, and I have even seen dog's in car seats/seat belts. It still seems you could have been more observant

Maybe she was wearing a furry jacket?

people put clothes and sometimes seatbelts on dogs

To 77: I acknowledged that in the lower half of my comment. Not to be rude, but please read all of the comment next time

If you think you feel bad, just think how the girl, Fido, I mean Phyllis felt.

You know, I don't blame you, OP, especially if she was blonde. A golden retriever's hair can get pretty long, and if a girl has curly or wavy hair it can be very easy to mistake the two at an interrupted first glance. But I think the most important thing here is: Did she take the treat? There are some strange people out there. Haha, that reminds me of Scooby snacks. We're they Scooby snacks?

If I was the lady I would've laughed. Not that big of a deal unless the lady is someone who overreacts to everything when it comes to their kids. I hate that kind of parent.

That sounds like a rather unfortunate child XD

You have to look for the queues, OP. You find foxes on the neck, children on the legs, and dogs on a leash. Occasionally, you may find one of the 3 in a purse but checking that would be a bit rude.

Why are we talking about queues? What does this have to do with lines?

FML's like these always make me wanna know what the people's reactions were!
