Today, I was on the phone with a client, when the gum I was casually chewing fell out of my mouth and down my shirt. While I was trying to dig it out, two of our newest customers walked into the lobby to see what looked like me fondling my breasts. FML

Sucks to be you =/ but YDI, chewing gum, especially in a professional setting, is just poor etiquette.

Why were you chomping away on a piece of gum while on a professional phone call in the first place? Why are you chewing gum in the lobby where new clients get a first impression of you and the company you work for? Both are incredibly rude to your clientele and completely unprofessional. Absolutely your own fault.

Ummm it doesn't take much to reach down and pull the gum out of ur shirt, so I don't see how it could've possibly looked like u were fondling ur breasts. Secondly, was your shirt THAT low cut that ur gum managed to fall down it? YDI, quit being a tramp!

Dude, stuff falls down my t-shirt all the time... it doesn't have to be a low cut shirt that the OP was wearing. You'd obviously be surprised how long it does take to find something like that.

wtf? I agree YDI, but only coz the OP shouldn't have been chewing gum in a client services position. I dunno what your shirts or body shape are like, but I don't wear terribly low-cut shirts and I don't have the biggest chest in the world, and even I manage to drop stuff down my shirt, especially food (eg. biscuit crumbs etc). And depending how far down the gum fell, it sometimes can be quite an ordeal to fish something back out!

This chick is prolly ugly an all u perverts r like ohh yea hahaha

on the bright side you may get many new clients thanks to that little situation of yours :)

Even if you didn't drop the gum, what a nice first image for customers, walking into the lobby to see an employee chewing her cud. And if that isn't bad enough, talking to a customer on the phone while chewing gum. You're an idiot.
