Today, I was picking my daughter up at day care. She was outside playing kick ball. A red ball rolls over to me, and trying to impress the kids, I kicked it over the slide. I turn around to see three crying six year olds. It was their hamster ball. FML

The op was just trying to amaze the kids,not because he wanted to be considered cool by them but because he thought it would make them happy or think it was awesome that someone could do something like that.

actually, the OP said "impress." to impress: to create a favorable impression. favorable: characterized by approval or support sooo...pretty much he was attempting to create an impression of himself that is approved by the children. he in fact WAS trying to be cool XD
