Today, I was picking my daughter up at day care. She was outside playing kick ball. A red ball rolls over to me, and trying to impress the kids, I kicked it over the slide. I turn around to see three crying six year olds. It was their hamster ball. FML

pmsl, i feel for you brooo! it was one of those 'im-going-to-be-cool-for-a-second' moments! they never work out. . . pahaha FLY!

First of all, why were they kicking a hamster ball around to begin with? Second of all, YDI for not noticing.

The whole comments section is filled with bumbling morons... First off, I had a colored hamster ball. Those things are damn hard to see through sometimes, especially in broad daylight when the sunlight reflects and makes it hard to see. Second, it was his daughter's class! Of course he would want to impress them and be the cool dad! In fact, I applaud him for trying to do something cool for his kid! Third, most kickballs are red. If he was concentrating on acting cool and impressing everyone, he probably just saw a red ball coming at him and kicked it, assuming it was the kickball. And don't say 'he was probably looking at it the whole time' because I doubt it. I know I trip up if I look at my feet while I'm kicking a ball. Fourth, the teacher is an idiot for letting them take it out there anyway! Not only could the hamster get away, but that hamster is in a plastic bubble in broad daylight! It would suffocate, or at least get incredibly hot. So the teacher deserved it for being a douchecanoe. Poor OP... And poor hamster.

this is the greatest thing i have ever read on the internet. i couldnt begin to dream of something so perfect. shit im still laughing. and the 6 year olds.... couldnt be a more perfect age haha

Ha ha! Awesome in painful way.... That'll leave a mental scar on the kids for sure. Yikes!

Oh-ma-god! That is absolutely terrible :O I remember being sad when my mom told me my hamster died. a few years later I found out she let him go :/ but anyways the moral of the story is man that would be scarring :/

why the **** were the kids kicking it around in the first place? it was probably already dead
