It's okay OP, I got hit with a line drive right in the nose when I was about 12. Blackened both eyes and busted my nose. It happens to the best of us. Just know that it's a 1 in a million chance of it happening, and it'll probably never happen again :) I hope you keep playing.
I play softball too! Shiiii... That would hurt so bad. I took I line drive to the forehead during the spring, that sucked. Lol. FYL
for all the people saying wear a mask. the OP was pitching not catching, pitchers dont wear masks catchers do....... idiots
Dude were do u play and what level i would love to still be playing now but our seasons been over for like a month and a word of advice from a fellow pitcher it may look stupid sometimes well if u play like u21 it does but a face mask is your best friend in this sport :)
They actually do make face mask for pitchers to wear to protect them.
never seen one
There's no crying in baseball
That happened to me once, except I was in my front yard, with my grandma as the batter. She hit me in the nose and gave me my first nosebleed. To make matters worse, the ball was plastic.
That sucks, #107...and no offense but I couldn't help but chuckle just because of the word "grandma". LOL.

An eye for an eye.
I thought you were trained to keep your eye on the ball, not the other way around.
