Today, I was pulled over by a cop and was fined $210 for making an illegal u-turn. When the cop finished writing my ticket and hopped in his car, he made the same u-turn. FML

cops are tax collectors nothing more society could do much better with a lot less of them, they waste our tax dollars and I hope one day someone wakes up and realizes cops are no longer there to protect us but to interrogate the innocent and prosecute those who can't make it, if u can't tell I also hate cops with a passion, 90% of them are corrupt or have a head trip and think they are above the law there are so few real, good cops left

cops do what they want because they can and there will no repercussions must be nice

YDI for breaking the law, also how is this an FML in what possible way could your life be f'd by a Police officer making a U turn that you are not allowed to make?

Police officers, while on duty, can do this kind of thing, but only while on duty. They are trained in driving, much more than the average person, and so can execute a U-turn in an unsafe location much more readily than the average driver. This might be an FML if he did it while off-duty, but the guy was doing his ******* job. Quit being a baby and stop looking at the internet for sympathy.

kind of an irrelevant point... he still broke the law and was justly punished... Definite YDI in this case (like I said, regardless of the circumstances).
