Today, I was pulled over by a police officer for speeding. After writing the ticket, he asked me why I was wearing a surgical mask. I told him that swine flu was found in our area and I was scared. He thought that I was insulting him and wrote me another ticket. FML

Today, I had to explain to a cop that the reason I was speeding was because my girlfriend was in the hospital due to a car accident. He was working the accident just ten minutes before and saw me leave behind the ambulance. He still gave me a ticket. FML

Today, I got pulled over by a state trooper for speeding. When he saw I had something in my pocket, he began to ask if it was a weapon. After arguing for a few minutes I was put in handcuffs. I was too embarrassed to pull the tampon out my pocket. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding. I know that I was in the wrong and will take responsibility for that. When the cop handed me my ticket, he asked me if I was smoking crack. I denied it because I don't do drugs. He asked me what that foul odor was. I was passing gas. FML

Hilarious. I know a guy who has believed for over three years now that bird flu will bring the end of the world. Soon as I saw the news I sent him a message saying OMG - flu outbreak and this one's got ur name on it!

god you ppl and the swine flu...if you don't live in mexico then why the hell bother??? i work in the friggin' pharmacy and i don't even bother wearing it...we were out of tamiflu and relenza and it was on BACK ORDER FOR THE LONGEST TIME because of that stupid scare...and we were sold out of masks and antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizer for a WHILE because of it too!!!!!! ppl are CRAZED I TELL YOU!!!! and it didn't help when the little baby died...and may i remind everyone that the baby had COME FROM MEXICO?!?!?!

Swine flu is hardly dangerous at all, so there was no reason to wear a mask. But FYL because no policeman has the right to give out tickets for such a stupid reason.

YDI for thinking you can prevent swine flu with a mask. In fact, masks may even increase the risk of infection since you tend to adjust the mask with your hands, and touching your face is exactly what you should be avoiding.

You have a right to insult him he can't legally do that, he's abusing his power, and now you can challenge both and will probably get off. But umm all the people wearing surgical masks and shit stupid as hell. Those masks keep your germs from getting out, not others from getting in, for that you need a disposable respirator or dust mask. I find it funny how stupid some people are.

Just what was the second ticket for and legally he can't do that. They can't write a ticket for feeling insulted for your responsibility of staying healthy. Any judge would throw that ticket out, at the very least, and may even throw out the speeding ticket.
