**** all of you who have made fun of him for being a 'germaphobe' at least he's taking precaution from this OBVIOUS deadly disease people like you are the ones that are going to unnecessarily spread this disease around and give it to innocent people. care about what's going on in the world around you for christs sake. let's PREVENT this from spreading. it's not really a laughing matter at all. and #45: "swine flu will pass just like sars did" ??? are you kidding me? it must not have affected you, but think of all the people it DID affect, and how many people lost their lives because of it. no ******* wonder these things spread like mad, people are so ignorant and think nothing bad will happen to them, and don't even care about others. it's your lives and your friends and families lives and hey, for those selfish ones that are here, the lives of people that will one day benefit you. CARE !

I think people need to chill out about this whole swine flu thing.. I'm a paramedic and I'm still only using universal precautions. The media is ridiculous. Look at the difference in healthcare standards between Mexico and the US. "But it's killing young healthy people in Mexico!!!" Of course you're "healthy" if you haven't gone to the doctor in 10 years and haven't been able to be diagnosed with anything. Tamiflu and another antiviral has been proven to be effective against h1n1, which we have plenty of access to. If you don't freak out about the regular flu, don't freak out about this. Americans have better access to better healthcare and supportive measures for when they do get sick. Take normal precautions, don't eat or touch your face and eyes unless you've washed your hands, etc.. And I have numerous friends who are officers. Just to set the record straight.. Example-- One night a group of young males in a car yelled "F*#& YOU PIG!" to him. He hauled after them, initiated a traffic stop, and gave the driver a citation for $110 and court appearance (with court costs) for loud music. Don't be dumb, they will find another way to get you. (Not saying the driver in this FML was being dumb, just saying in general..)

contest the second ticket. I lived in Japan for a year and... personally I see nothing wrong with wearing a surgical mask when you're sick or think you might get sick. Over there's it just normal. They even have pretty prints on them.

You shouldn't pay that ticket. The officer was being an idiot, so I'm pretty sure you can get it cancelled or something.
