Today, I was pulled over for going the wrong way on a closed highway. The construction signs pointed me in that direction, and the cop agreed that they should be fixed. Did it stop him from giving me a ticket anyway? Nope. FML

Did the fact that you were driving on the left side of the road not occur to you?

That's what I was thinking...

Sometimes when one side of the highway is shut down, the other side turns into a normal two way street. It probably did occur to them, but if half of the highway is shut down and the signs are pointing to the other side... They were following the signs.

I hope you took pics of the signs take it to court & ull b fine. :)

If you take it to court, it will cost you the same amount of money missing work. Just pay it. I had a ticket that wasn't mine I paid it anyway. To miss work wasn't worth it. It was photo radar. I wasn't driving! In fact it was the plate off my trailer they caught. I don't own a truck to pull it!

Go back, take picture of intersection, including sign, contest that ticket in court!

"But... there was a sign.. pointing me this way... that sign right there, lead me here.. So, I'm just following the road signs." You'd think the construction worker would be liable.. unless there was a way to avoid it, if the only way was on the other side they would have some sort of stop and go director for the cars going in each direction.. So idk
