Today, I was riding on my usual bus, when I noticed a man staring at me. I was having a really bad day, and said "Can you please stop staring at me?" He then replied with "I'm just trying to look out the window, and your head is in the way. Don't flatter yourself." FML

Today, I was on the bus, heading to work, when the girl beside me started yelling at me, claiming I was staring down her shirt. I did no such thing, but the driver nonetheless stopped the bus and made me get off, all under the withering glares of the other passengers. FML

Today, on the bus, I caught the eye of this ugly, sweaty girl giving me a death stare through the driver's mirror. I gave her a death stare back. Only then I realized I was staring at myself. FML

Today, I had to take bus to work, because yesterday my car was hit by a bus. While standing there, I noticed the driver kept looking back at me every now and then. As I went to get off, he looks at me again and says: "Sorry..." FML

Today, some guy at the bus stop screamed at me because the bus was coming and I wasn’t wearing my mask. I was standing 25 feet from the stop finishing a smoke and there was no one around me. When I sat down on the bus, with my mask on, he stared me down the whole ride. FML

The OP wasn't being rude. They were in a bad mood and politely asked them to stop staring. The man looking out the window was rude, and plus, who looks out a window on the other side of the bus/when you're not in the window seat? It's just plain weird. FYL, and sorry about the bad day :'(

How was the man rude? i'm not sure how the buses are designed where ever you live but mayb they were sitting in the seats that face each other...what was the man supposed to do look at his feet just cause there was someone else in front of him? ummm no...the fact that she saw him staring means that she was also looking at him mayb she should have kept her head down instead. She deserved it cause she tried to embarrass the dude but in return got what she deserved.

If someone looks like they're staring at you, it doesn't make you vain to think that they actually are staring at you. Besides, the OP never said she thought he was staring at her because she was attractive. I doubt that she cared what his reasons were.
