Today, I was riding on my usual bus, when I noticed a man staring at me. I was having a really bad day, and said "Can you please stop staring at me?" He then replied with "I'm just trying to look out the window, and your head is in the way. Don't flatter yourself." FML

Why is that bad? Cant you accept that not every man who sees you isnt instantly actracted to you?

Call me sick minded, but I swear this said, "I was riding the usual man...". o.o

I hate when people stare through my window when I'm right in front of it, I'm like," Um...what the ****?" Just give them a stare and they will turn and look through their own damn window

YDI for being a girl who thinks everything is centered around them. Girls like that are ironically always ugly too so FYL for being ugly

"Today, I embarrassed myself because in an act of vanity and narcissism. FML" You know, it shouldn't be that hard to tell when people are staring past you rather than at you. I can't tell you the number of times someone has gotten irritated at me for "staring at them" when in fact I was just spacing out. Of course, I in turn usually look at them quizzically or with a WTF expression on my face, occasionally utter the word "dumbass" or something similar, and then start doing whatever again. Vanity is not a virtue. Get over yourself.

I'm sorry, but YDI. You can't assume that he was staring at you. You could have been a little calmer about it and maybe just shifted your position a little. If his eyes did not move as you moved, then he was staring at the window. If his eyes moved with you, then you could have approached him. I usually don't go with YDIs, but this is a definite YDI. Don't assume someone is looking at YOU. There are other things surrounding you and you should not expect all eyes to be on you at all times. I would say FYL if he actually was staring at you, though. But for this case, YDI. Hope you can take my advice next time.

You know, I'm leaning toward feeling a bit more sympathetic to the OP because at least she was nice and respectful in the way that she asked him. Usually these FMLs are all about truly bitchy people who think someone is checking them out and decide to get cocky about it. I highly doubt the guy was "just trying to look out the window." If he wanted to look out the window badly enough that he was trying to stare through her head, he would have asked her to move. Instead she politely asked him to stop staring and he responded rudely to her. FYL because you were having a bad day and this made you feel worse.

Just because your having a bad day doesn't mean you need to take it out on everyone else, ya biotch!

i hate it when i'm trying to look out the window on the bus and someone's fat head is in the way. so, **** you. that's what i say.

I don't understand why so many are against the OP, I mean, cmon, we have all had bad days, so you're gonna be a bit moody and stuff, so then you get on a bus then you see this creepy person staring in your direction in which you think they're staring at you, you're gonna get paranoid and ask them to please stop staring. And tbh he could have been lying and he covered it up. and if her head was in the way, he should stop trying to loook out of that blimmin window! Usually try not to make eye contact with people on buses otherwise people get suspicious and what not lol. FYL
