Today, I was scheduled to fill in at the customer service counter where I work. Today was also the day that I allegedly accused a customer of being a thief, sold her a fraudulent money order, and will be sued for defamation of character. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, at work, I had a customer accuse me of taking the giftcard I had issued her for her return, after spending 15 minutes trying to fix her screwed up transaction. She began to yell, and follow me around the store. Security had to intervene and I had to be locked in an office until she left. FML

Today, a customer filed a formal complaint with corporate about me, because I wouldn't help her find things she wanted while I was off the clock. We were in a completely different store than the one where I actually work. FML

Today, I found out that I'm being sued for posting on Facebook about a customer service experience with a local company. Even though we have witnesses, the owners of the store claim that we're lying about the whole thing and that we're "malicious". FML

Try having a customer threaten to call the cops on you because she *thinks* you ordered the wrong pillows for her. People are assholes. Retail has proven that.

I'm guessing that you work at a bank like I do, considering that you sold a money order. You should counter sue for defamation and legal fees, also ask if you can use some of the security camera footage from that day; nothing is better at proving you innocent than a video of the whole incident.
