file an accident report and go after them for their negligence.
you should have complained to the manager and threatened to sue
I want to gag on all the idiots who think the answer to everything is to sue. Use common sense a wet floor means walk carefully.
why the hell does everyone jump to suing and law suits everytime someone has a bit of bad luck? accidents happen, if op isn't hurt, there's no reason for compensation, maybe a bit of a discount on the store worker's unprofessional attitude, but that's it.
I laugh at people, should they sue me? I already stated she should be entitled to some form of a discount for his attitude, meaning I addressed the fact that he laughed at op
Possibly be able to sue?
I wouldn't sue unless you're hurt, but I'd certainly have a conversation with the manager. You should report it to corporate if the manager doesn't handle it in a very professional way because not having a wet floor sign out is a major liability. Someone should know about that, as well as the employee's horrendous attitude.
This is a serious situation, I may have laughed too, but only after I made sure whoever fell was ok. Hope you are ok OP, and next time shopping just always keep an eye out on the floor, may save you in the future
You could sue for that!
Negligent could be the end of that piece of shit cleaners career. Fight that.

I hear a lawsuit in the near future
Being a cleaner is a legitimate job, you snob. Also, you have no idea what job OP has, or if they have one at all.
