Today, I was sitting in the airport, watching the baggage handlers load the plane I was about to get on. They were being really rough with it, one bag came open and all the clothes spilled out onto the tarmac. The clothes looked familiar. They were mine. FML

Today, I was boarding my flight when I got pulled aside for looking suspicious. As she was opening my bag, I said, "Be careful, I jammed so many clothes in there it may explode." I was then strip searched for my trouble. FML

Today, I arrived at the airport only to find my suitcase was lost and my 3 weeks worth of clothes and supplies gone. All I had left was my wallet and carry ons. Upon leaving the airport I was mugged. FML

Today, while going through customs at the airport, my bag was selected for screening. It was nearly overflowing because it was so full, so before the TSA agent searched it, I said, "Watch out - it's going to explode when you open it". Wrong choice of words. FML

Today, I was at the airport to catch a plane. It was very crowded at the gate and there was nowhere to sit except for a flat metal bench, so I sat on that. Turns out I was sitting on a luggage scale, so my weight was displayed for everybody to see. FML

Today, I was at the airport baggage collection when I saw an old man struggling to get his very old and heavy suitcase off the belt before giving up. I had already collected my bag, but wanting to be helpful, the old man watched me as I grabbed his handle, yanked and snapped it clean off. FML

Today, I went to the dry-cleaner's and went to get my bag of laundry from my trunk, but I ended up dropping the bag. My dirty underwear blew around the parking lot. I had to chase it all down as a bunch of people looked on. FML

Today, I boarded a plane. A woman decided that she didn't like where she'd put her carry on luggage and pulled it out from over my head. The heavy luggage then fell right onto my face, the wheel smacking me in the mouth and busting my lip open. She just laughed and waltzed away without a word. FML

maybe you could use those airtight ziplocs to contain your clothes? it would make them much easier to fall out and are also space efficient haha i'm not sure if they have it there, but you can get some for an affordable price in daiso

I don't understand why everyone is hating on the luggage handlers. They're just doing their jobs, and they're doing it as fast as they can, as not to delay the flight. Just close your bags properly, and it shoud be fine.

Because baggage handlers really don't give a shit. I've watched them in Australia - they randomly throw the bags, sometimes not even aiming for the ramp to the plane. I saw one throw a bag and it missed the ramp. It took 5 minutes before he went to pick it up and throw it back on the ramp. That weight guide is a load of shit. the customer service people tell you its so they don't hurt their backs. AS IF any of them ever lift anything. its the max weight they can throw.
