Today, I was taking a bath and needed shampoo. I leaned on the soap holder to get some and it came off the wall. Huge ants started pouring out running up the walls, down the walls, EVERYWHERE. I ran out of the bathroom screaming, completely naked. FML

#34 mentioned structural damage... Though horrific, it was lucky this problem surfaced now and not when the tub falls through the floor! Also, at least they weren't fire ants. Ouch. This has been my attempt at a positive spin; that's all I've got.

Gross... You've never even seen one in there before? Kind of sounds like a bad horror movie to me. Can't decide on whether or not it was fake.

That is so gross. I think I'd have a heart attack or something. It'd suck so bad if we all had to live outdoors all the time.

omg! that really ******* sucks, i feel so bad for you.

Agree with #5... that blows. FYL indeed. Not only do you have ants streaming into your house, but you also have to get the shampoo thingy fixed. I'm guessing that's not at the top of the priority list tho.

For some reason I'm having difficulty believing this. The only thing that has caused me to think again is #34's probable explanation. Even so, the soap dispenser would have to have been built into the wall so that when it broke, the wall broke with it. Most dispensers aren't built into the wall but attached afterward. And aren't most bathtub/shower walls tile? Or plastic, whatever.... To protect the walls from the water? you'd have to break through that. Nah... I say there's only a very small chance that this is real.

oh man thats gross. I'm a dude and I would have done the same thing

Eh, easy to fix. What is weird that you have an issue running out of your own bathroom naked in your own house. BFD.

Eugh, oh god, I would never be able to shower again. NOTHING creeps me out more than ants. I hate the way they swarm together and eew eew eew to have them come pouring out of your soap shelf? Oh god...I need to stop thinking about this. Good luck fixing your shower.
