41, you're the type of person that is working hard to give this site a bad name. Don't tell people you don't know to kill themselves; even jokingly. Personally I'm grateful for the posters on this site, whether or not their post is actually humorous or... I dunno really weird or something, because they feel secure enough to share the stuff that happens in their life. For the same reason the "Scarlet takes a tumble" youtube girl was so funny. Because it's an embarassing event, and nothing was forcing her to post the video, but she did anyway, and it became an internet sensation. OP, I dunno. Everyone has fears. It's a little bizarre... Oh well. This sort of deserves a neutral/I don't care button. It doesn't really deserve either one.
#14 ... There's no such thing as ghosts... So i think you ment to say: Their NOT gonna show up with lights on Neither Are they gonna show up with lights off.:D
Don't listen to all of these sad saps, OP. How incredibly rude of these folks to pick on you like that. It is very natural to be afraid of the dark or something lurking within it, especially if that is how you spent your whole life sleeping. It's just what comes natural and your body is regulated to it, despite your ulterior fears as well. If it is not a downright phobia, it is very fixable on your own. My advice would be to sleep with a white noise simulator or something else that comforts you in the dark (such as a fan or maybe some radio), so it may ease your mind :) I used to be afraid of the same thing and that's what helps me.

Don't worry, Capser is the friendly ghost!
