Today, I was talking to my boyfriend on the phone. After a short pause I hear him say "I love you." Smiling I say, "I love you too." Then he says, "I was talking to my dog." FML

I don't get it..? I love my dog more than I love any of my siblings. Or friends or anyone I've ever dated. A dog is always there for you; people come and go. And, anyway, aren't you happy he told the truth instead of lying about saying "I love you"?

LMAO the funny thing is - something like this actually happened to me... lmao before i started dating my ex fiancee, we were on the phone one night, and he was flipping through a magazing telling me about what kinds of things were in there;; knives, guns, ammo && stuff like that. i wasn't really interested...and so i started playing with my kitten....and kept saying "I love you..." He didn't realize i was talking to my cat lol and said "I love you too..." haha he felt pretty stupid afterwards...
