I'll take people that shouldn't be teachers for $400.
Talk to her about it, then find the asshole who told her.
Having trouble understanding how that even became an idea...
You should mention something to your parents because this is a serious matter. Every child deserve a chance for education, mental illness or not.
did you tell her that she is dumb and believes in any crap someone tells..
did you make it believable?
FYL for having such a rude and gullible teacher, but how dumb do you have to be for her not to notice that information isn't correct? After all, your assignments can't be anywhere near good if still thinks you're mentally disabled.
Just because someone is mentally disabled doesn't mean their assignments will be "nowhere near good."
I think what 21 meant was in this particular situation, the teacher believes op's "mental illness" affected their learning abilities to the point where they didn't understand anything the teacher said, so how badly was op's work that the teacher continued to believe this rumour. I think if OP had good grades and was paying attention in class, etc, then the teacher wouldn't have believed the rumour in the first place.
Exactly. Brandi gets it.
"Giving up" on a student, regardless of mental illnesses, breaks the teacher code. She could get on probation for that!

Tell her you gave up listening to her.
