Actually, there's a lot of people with a fat fetish so to say nobody wants to check out a fat chick is pretty stupid. A tall athletic girl can weigh almost 200 pounds and be considered a healthy weight, so if she was a gym member it's entirely possible she's just tall and muscular, and given that, heels should be able to hold a lot more than 200 pounds when just being tried on without breaking, given how much wear a healthy girl weighing 200 pounds would put on them if she was walking in them all the time so it would be pretty fair to say the shoes were at fault. Also, shut up.
Sorry, but I'm a pretty big girl and if I can try on heels without them snapping, then most any woman who can fit their feet into them can. If you snap heels just by trying them on, the shoes are bad. And yes, expensive items can be poorly made, too.
I'm gonna call fake here. even with a minimum wage job I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind would be looking at/trying on shoes that cost 2 full paychecks. in fact I have never seen shoes that cost more then 100 usd
thats so effed
rOn-b : only a dumb will pay for tht.. .
lol yea i would of been like, your products are shit i dont have to pay for these
+1, seriously. Plus that sales chick's got a bad attitude.
A friend of mine was in a similar situation: trying on heels for prom, and they snapped. Sales girl ALSO made a comment about 'fat' people trying on heels. The catch in this situation? My friend is covered in PURE muscle, (she plays tennis) and I envy to the core how much she looks like a modern day Amazon. She also happens to have breasts AND hips. Sales girl was a twiggy. The shoes were massively shitty quality (who the hell makes stilettos that have no steel support in the heel, seriously), and I think Sales Girl of Bitchiness was just a ****. (oh, and muh friend is still convinced she IS fat, btw). Moral of the story, whether or not the girl was overweight, (oh yeah, and MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT, PEOPLE) she didn't deserve some pile of **** muscle judging her.

geeze, leave her alone. people can break heels easily without being big. my best friend is 60kg, and really tall, and she broke a pair of heels when we were out the other night. honestly, they can be easy to break, she might not have been a big person. even if she is, some of you arseholes need to shut the **** up, cos theres no way in hell you're perfect, let alone the op. and whats so bad bout trying on something you might not buy? i try on shoes and clothes that are expensive that i dont have an intention of buying, but just want to see what it looks like, and then maybe save up and buy it. plus, two paychecks worth? ever thing maybe she has a part time job whilst at school or uni??! i say complain to the manager, cos that was rude what the girl said. and dw about what some of the idiots on here are saying! :)
Why does the thyroid gland always get mentioned in fat threads? Most people aren't fat because their thyroid doesn't work. They're fat because of unhealthy diet and lifestyle. I'm sorry if you genuinely have a thyroid problem, #92, but just because you have it, it doesn't mean every other fat person does. Mentioning it every time there's a fat thread only helps the fat OP keep blaming their weight issues on something or someone other than themselves.
