Today, I was vacuuming our house because I wanted to help my parents. I wore a headset while listening to REALLY loud music. The vacuuming job took me two hours and when I took of my headset I noticed that I hadn't started the vacuum cleaner. FML

come on it could happen to anyone.. its funny, I like this fml

I really don't think it could happen to anyone. You'd basically have to know absolutely nothing about a vacuum cleaner.

How big is your house? Two hours of hoovering?

First, if you listen to music so loud that you can't hear a vacuum cleaner, you are damaging your hearing, period. Second, even if you can't hear it, vacuum cleaners vibrate when they are turned on, so it should've been at least a bit suspicious that yours didn't, period. Third, this means you're an idiot, period.

Absolutely fake. I've done enough vacuuming with various vacuum cleaners to know this. How about the suction on the carpet/floor? Vibration of the vacuum cleaner? Hearing the sound between songs? There's no way this is possible unless you're a complete idiot. PS If you're listening to your music THAT loud you are most certainly going to go deaf sooner than later.

OP's actual story: "So today I was high out of my mind and listening to pink floyd. I thought I went on magical journey where I vacuumed my whole house, but in reality I'm just a retard that humped the vacuum for two hours."

just pretend like nothing happened. pretend that you never intended to help your parents vaccum the place..

20 years Later: Today, I just realize I'm deaf from listening to loud music all the way up. FML

That may be the most idiotic thing I have read in my life.
