Today, I was walking with my girlfriend of a year and a half on the beach. Everything was fine until she saw a plane with a banner behind it saying "Cassie, will you marry me?" She said yes. I didn't order a plane. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend, whom I'm madly in love with, by having a plane fly over her house spelling "Marry me Abby?" After seeing it, she locked herself in her room and cried for hours, exclaiming that this wasn't how she wanted to be proposed to. I'd invited my entire family. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend from the top of a bungee jumping platform at an amusement park. I yelled out, "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" from the platform, pointing her out. Turns out, I was pointing at the wrong girl. My girlfriend was very angry and ran away when the wrong girl yelled, "Yes!" FML

Today, at a romantic dinner my boyfriend was treating me to, the waiter brought a "Will you marry me?" cake out, with candles and sparklers. Just try and delay the wedding for as long as possible; the fact that she thought you proposed and said yes doesn't mean you have to be married in a few months. A friend of mine wants to wait at least 1 year or 2 after a proposal before getting married, so she has time to plan. After all, if you've been with her a year and I half marriage must have crossed your mind at least once. And if it hasn't, you should ask yourself why before you hurt your GF a lot more.

If you want to marry her, then marry her. If you dont feel like its the right time to get married to her, tell her the truth. If you cant see you spending the rest of your life with her, then you should get out or shes going to be hurt more later. But she deserves to know the truth. Just tell the girl.
