OP should've just gone for the innocent act. Act like you have no idea what she was talking about. Unless you really want to marry her ofcourse, then congratulations to both of you.
Just try and delay the wedding for as long as possible; the fact that she thought you proposed and said yes doesn't mean you have to be married in a few months. A friend of mine wants to wait at least 1 year or 2 after a proposal before getting married, so she has time to plan. After all, if you've been with her a year and I half marriage must have crossed your mind at least once. And if it hasn't, you should ask yourself why before you hurt your GF a lot more.
Of course she said yes. There's a whole book about Cassie saying yes.
If you want to marry her, then marry her. If you dont feel like its the right time to get married to her, tell her the truth. If you cant see you spending the rest of your life with her, then you should get out or shes going to be hurt more later. But she deserves to know the truth. Just tell the girl.
