Today, I was watching Free Willy with my boyfriend. It was at the part where the boy leaned into the water to give Willy a hug. I asked, "How do you even hug a whale?" My boyfriend rolled over and gave me a hug, and said, "Like this." FML

oh, you need a sense of humor. & self-esteem. why think he was calling you a whale or anything FML-worthy/ He may just have been ironic, like, you give a whale a hug on the same principle you do with anyone no matter the size. Or maybe I'm just optimistic. Besides: 1. he's your boyfriend, and 2. he gave you a hug. that isn't an FML. i wish my bf was around to hug me :(

I agree, people need to stop getting their panties in a bunch every time their SO says something they don't like. Half of them are jokes that are just being misinterpreted by people with no self esteem. Also, am I the only one who thought that the boyfiend was talking about himself? When I read it, it seemed to me that he was reffering to himself as a whale, not his girlfriend.
