Dear OP When it comes to feminine products and the limit on perceived embarrassment they seem to be able to cause females in public... appears there's no limit. On the flip side, major points for the bold factor in straight picking the pad up and... just kinda... waiting with it. Know a few that would have tried a full deniability, or even a shoe-cover-up or something else just as meek. I applaud the "...yeah, that's mine" accountability. Small consolation, but at the very least- the six other people in the elevator with you *now* know you maintain a modern standard of feminine hygiene. ...clearly, you were majorly embarrassed, so you get the FYL.

I would never wear a skirt when I had a pad on. And get ones with wings.

Maybe Alice is one of those "organic" girls that makes her own pads out of moss. Although personally I don't believe a quarter of the stuff I read here is true, it's still kind of funny.

...What's with all the people saying she deserves it for wearing pads with skirts? I've worn pads with skirts A LOT. If you stick it on properly, the pad WILL NOT fall out. :P

Maybe wear pantyhose or tights under your skirt when you have your period next time? I don't know... I'm always a little leery about the whole pads + skirts thing, and this is a good example of why. FYL for sure.
