Today, I was working a haunted house. I have a really good spot where I hide and scare people. This really hot guy was walking up, and I jumped out and screamed. He punched me in the face. FML

Naturally, my first instinct upon seeing an attractive male is also jumping forth and scaring the shit out of the guy. That'll win his heart!

She has a job to do, attraction or not. Also, it could be a great way to meet someone, in a way. "You worked in the haunted house? Haha, you scared me good!" and then it goes from there...

Lol I'm working a haunted house too. I'm a guide, though, so it's my job to try to make sure that shit like that doesn't happen. I don't really see what I could do to stop it though. And think about it this way, you obviously scared the shit out of him!

Jerk. Every haunted house I've been to has clearly marked signs/instructions, DON'T TOUCH THE ACTORS. Hope your face is okay :)

What a DICK. He should have had the decency not to hit a woman.

the person that hit OP obviously didnt know it was a woman because when ppl work at a haunted houses your all covered in make up or in a costume and plus its also dark. and hitting OP was clearly not intentional

WTF does it matter whether they got an innie or an outie? You shouldn't hit *anyone*, dude. Stupid misplaced 'chivalry'.

And I would have gotten away with it too of it weren't for you meddling kids! And your stupid dog too!

This is bad, if OP reported it the guy could get in a lot of trouble. I say go for it. If he's going to react like that he shouldn't be in there in the first place. A kid around here went to one drunk and ended up beating the crap out of one of the scarers. They called the cops, and hello police record.

"Fight or Flight Reaction" That's why all actors in Theme Parks during events like this are FORBIDDEN to touch the customers just for that reason. I should know, I worked at Halloween Horror Nights (Universal Studios, Orlando Florida) for years, and thankfully it has never happened to me, but I've seen co-workers get broken noses from stupid, DRUNK, people who lose all sense of what's the 'logical' thing to do. Either "Fight or Flight".
