Today, I was working at a shoe store and was helping a dude try on shoes. He looked like trouble and I wanted to finish with him. When he finally picked his shoes, he abruptly stood up and ran out of the store with the shoes on. The cost of them was deducted from my salary. $240. FML

Today, I bought some shoes, but pissed off the lady working at the store by returning them 5 minutes later. She yelled at me and ripped my receipt in half, everyone in the store watched as she threw a handful of pennies at my face. FML

Today, I wore my new shoes to work, feeling confident. Halfway through the day, I found out that I'd forgotten to remove a giant price sticker on the left sole. My boss pointed it out during a meeting, as I crossed my legs. FML

Today, I was trying on some shoes when I felt the heels break underneath me. Not only did they cost two paychecks worth, but as I was leaving I heard the sales girl say that "we really should have a weight limit for who can try on our products." FML

there's no way he can deduct the cost of the shoes from your salary.....there is no way you can be held accountable for theft unless you were letting him try the shoes on right next to the exit of the store or w/e but even then, theft of store items should be reported and should be covered by the stores insurance policy.....next time, dont wither so easily under your boss and stand up for yourself......

Have a lawyer send a lovely letter explaining the legal reprecussions hes about to get unless he gives you your money back. Stores have insurance for reasons such as theft. And their insurance policy does not include deducting employee pay. Sooooo illegal. I had a boss try to screw me out of a days worth of pay illegally. I marched my ass straight to HR. within 5 min an apology letter was sent to me and my pay was safe. ******* always trying to take advantage.
