Today, I watched a manager and a co-worker sit underneath a table in our store all day as I got yelled at for not working hard enough. I was the only one actually working. FML

If you were the only one actually working, who yelled at you?

If they do that often, go in early one day and squirt some glue on the floor under the table. That should teach them a little lesson. Lazy farts.

I can honestly say I know how you feel OP, and I suggest you look for a new job. I took my first job straight out of high school, eventually quit and got into another job I was actually passionate about (I love animals and it was at an animal supply/food store, people were always bringing in their pets and I genuinely enjoyed having that job). I would try my hardest, we were sales reps but not on commission or anything, therefore there was no way to keep track of individual sales. But no matter how hard I applied myself, the managers began cutting my hours and cutting my hours to the point I was working 4 hours a week, not enough to get by on. When I confronted the managers, they said they're not happy with my sales and that I need to "engage more" and be like "So and So". None of this made sense because for one, as I mentioned, no one keeps track of individual sales. I would talk a client into buying $200 worth of merchandise and if there was another cashier saying, "Oh I'll ring them up for you!" it looks like THEY'RE getting the credit. Secondly they'd always have me work on slow days during slow hours. Thirdly, when they said be like "So and So" I noticed "So and So" would just stand around or go in the back to text on her phone when there was no one in the store. I was the only one who would keep myself busy restocking shelves, restocking the treat bar, dusting, cleaning, etc. I was disappointed because I was so young and inexperienced, I genuinely tried to be good at the job but for whatever reason was not appreciated whatsoever. Eventually I was able to take a $13/hour full-time job thanks to my mom who also works there, and I was only 18...almost 19. Here I am appreciated, I've only been here a little over year and am already being considered for a second promotion. If you're unappreciated, consider looking elsewhere for a job.

Take pictures of them at different intervals so the time stamp shows. Then show it to whoever is highest.
