Today, I weighed myself. When I was fifteen, my mom yelled at me, saying that I was going to end up being 200 pounds by the time I was forty. Well, mom, you're wrong. At this rate I'll be 200 pounds by the time I'm twenty. FML

No! Just stop eating junk! Start eating less meat, less fatty foods, and stop listening to your bitchy mom and start feeling like you are worth something. And excersise - not because you're fat, but because ypur life is better when you do. Maybe you'll loose weight, maybe you won't. But you'll be healthier.

I'm a fellow fatty. FMyLife isn't the place to get help. There are too many mean and spiteful people. I wish you all the luck in the world in getting your weight under control. It is a life long challenge and it isn't easy. Figure out what triggers you to snack (depression, boredom, stress, ...) and start there! Keep thinking how nice it will be to be able to buy clothes in the regular stores again when you get discouraged.

I really hate it when people refer to themselves, or other people, as "fatty". It's disrespectful. I'm not saying that one can't be fat, or that shouldn't be addressed, but don't go foisting your low self-esteem on someone else.

I meant no offense and I'm sorry that bothered you. I catch a lot of negativity because of my corpulent body and so I have had to developed a sense of humor. Not everyone appreciates my type of humor, but it is the only coping mechanism a lot of us have. I hope that you can see that I was only trying to help.

@sam I completely agree. I'm 20 and when I realised I'd hit 200 lbs, I knew I had to change. i started following the serving suggestions on food packaging and going to the gym once or twice a week and I've lost about 4kg in the last 4 weeks and I'm well on my way to being a healthy weight for my height! it's not about quick fix diets, it's about lifestyle changes.

This is just a "Today, I found out I'm fat. FML" dressed up in an attempt to be witty. You can write any story you want to to give it context, but it's still just a fatty's lament. Moderation fail.

Maybe you should do something about it instead of broadcasting your attitude of "Huh, so I am x lbs. I wonder how that happened. Oh well. FML (because even though I'm complaining, I'm not willing to make an attempt to change)"

If that's not what you want, you'd better get it under control now. It gets harder as you get older. Talk to your doctor.

since your mom is so bad at gauging your self control and obesity you should make a bet on how many chins youll have easy money
