Today, I went downstairs to get a drink and overheard my grandparents talking about me. They spent a good 15 minutes double-team attacking me for my failings as a human being, mainly me not being married with children yet. I'm barely 20. FML

If you have had your first blood, then you are clearly a woman with duties to fulfill. Act fast before you become a disheveled matron of 25 whom no man will touch.

Tell them the same thing I tell my parents when they asked why my husband and I haven't procreated yet: it will happen when we want it to, and it's not your decision or your business when it does.

How old were they when they got married And had kids?!

Probably 18 or 19. My grandma got married at 18 and popped her first out at 19.

Yeah my grandma was 19. The average age of marriage and having children has gone way up.

Tell them to grow up and it's none of their business.

I'm sorry OP, I know it's hard to try to feel like you're doing something right in your life because of your parents. Things happen for a reason. You're on the right track.

Don't be too mad at them OP. Remember they come from a time when humans were married at 15 and dead by 30, usually during a spear-hunt.

This isn't even a real problem, at all. FML

That's rude of them and it's not even their business. Don't worry about them you are a great human being and shouldn't have to deal with such rudeness

At the time, marrying young was quite common, not really an excuse to bitch around though, which everyone still does in generation too.

It's situations like this I'm okay with the fact that my family trash talks about each other to their face.
