Today, I went in for an interview at my dream job. When I walked in, I got a dirty look from the front desk secretary. Turns out, the guy interviewing me was from a dating website I'm on. I'd rejected him and told him to get a life. FML

I figure you didn't get it huh? This is why you should be nice to people. ;)

That's why you're nice offline AND online, when people can see your picture ;D You never know who you're chatting with. You were on a dating site, too, after all. You both needed to get a life, if that's why you told him that. The only difference is you have no life or job. He has no life, but he has HIS job, and the power over YOUR job. Next time, I think a simple, "I'm sorry, but you're not my type." will suffice, won't it?

I gather the interviewer brought you in simply to get revenge on you. File a complaint with his employer and next time you see him you can say "Get a job!."

I am in a relationship now but I've done the online dating thing before, and I have encountered many assholes from doing so. I won't say YDI, because for all I know maybe this guy was stalking you. I just think if he invited you in just to get revenge, it says a lot about his maturity level.

hahaha using online dating and then telling someone on there to get a life...amazing. apparently they have a life, and it involves a management position.

So he passed your picture to everyone in the office after you rejected him? How would the secretary know who you were instantly? FAKE FAKE FAKE

I really don't see how YDI at all. What are you supposed to do, tell every online guy "yes"? All the people who say that seem to be people who would jump at anything that asks them out. That is sad, very sad. It's simlar to real life: you go on a date with someone, or your friend tries to set you up, and you're not interested. You say "no" if you're not interested and if they keep persisting (or approaching you after you say no) it's reasonable to say "get a life"

ydi for being a bitch. You should have given him a chance. Plus, you're the one on the dating website lmfao.

He's extremely lucky. Rarely anyone gets an opportunity like his.

Wow...you coulda just told the guy you were not intrested...you didnt need to put him down like that. Now he has been rejected and stabbed in the heart by a heartless bitch. Poor guy. I have no sympathy for the OP and i hope the guy rejected her for the job and told her to "get a life". YDI.

You told HIM to get a life...on a DATING site?! Wow...YOU need to get a life yourself OP. Go out and find someone instead of a website doing all the work for you.
