Sounds fake.
If the first time they asked you out they did some really corny thing that related to some online game that their life is sucked into, and they rejected you, say that you demand to speak to higher management cause the guy that interviewed you is a guy that asked you out on a dating site that you turned them down on cause they immediately came up to you and did some really sketchy and corny pronouncement of their love to you.

That's why you're nice offline AND online, when people can see your picture ;D You never know who you're chatting with. You were on a dating site, too, after all.
