Today, I went on a date with a cute guy. After picking me up, he started to play on repeat, and sing to me, 'Happy Together' by The Turtles. For the entire 20 minute ride. FML

This is a fantastic song. One of my favorites, actually. Sure, it's a little strange to have the song on repeat the entire time, but it could just have been a favorite song of his. I can't see me lovin' nobody but you, for all my life When you're with me, baby, the skies will be blue, for all my life... Now I'm going to listen to this song on repeat. For more than 20 minutes.

to the comment about it being a song by the Beatles, it's actually by the mama's and the papa's. op you should have requested a different song or possibly struck up a conversation. while the song is great, not for 20 minutes on repeat

I feel your pain. Excepting the so-called "art" of Disney Channel tht song is probably one of the most annoying, not to mention the mist likely sing to get stuck in your head.

For a first date and for 20 minutes straight?! yea that's weird! Any song for that long on repeat is too much. I like this song too but the guy is weird or maybe he was nervous.
