Today, I went onto the treadmill at my gym. When it prompted me to enter my age I put 27. I'm 29 and am lying about my age to a workout machine. FML

It asks you your age so it knows what your normal workout level needs to be. Also, you're a completely pathetic person. Seriously? 29 is not old. Get some perspective on life.

Next time I go work out I'm going to tell the stationary bike I'm 12, even though I'm 22. ppfffttt... OP = rere. Those machines ask for your age for a reason. The gym is not the bar, and if you stop hitting the bar so much you wouldn't have to hit the gym as much and feel pathetic enough to lie to a machine who doesn't really care how old you are. :pats OP on the head:

This just oozes failure. I won't lie, I assumed it was a woman too, and got pissed because another dumb broad was bringing the rest of us down. But if it was actually a man...it's still pathetic. (And it's pathetic for either scenario too: whether the OP was lying because they were embarrassed about their age or because they were trying to cheat the machine and failed miserably).
