The dates were actual dates, she knew it. We had cuddle and make-out sessions as well. After that night I talked with her on where things were going. Turns out she still has feelings for her Ex overseas (there in a complicated relationship so technically it's not even her Ex) and she was just using me because she got "lonely." I'll admit that I deserved some of what I got as I was ignorant and blinded but it still sucks. Oh, haha, she says I'm one of her best friends and she still wants to be friends. Seriously FML

The girl might've not wanted to confirm anything just yet, and only instantly came up with a dickheaded reply that she might have regretted later that night... I would say have a talk with her, and if that happens again, you would know she's a two faced little vixen....

Probably not sarcastic, just went at it the wrong way. What he should've said is that it should be considered strange in modern day if you're planning on paying for all 10 dates all by yourself. If you really want to, then that's somewhat fine, but relationships are supposed to be on equal standing between those involved, so you paying for everything without her trying to pay for something herself should seem somewhat suspicious.
