Today, I went out to dinner with my boyfriend and his mom. The hostess asked if I needed "the kid's menu," remarked how I look "so grown up for your age," and asked what grade I was in. I said I'm in university. She laughed as if it was the best joke ever told. I'm 22. FML

Today, I met and asked a cute girl out on a date. We decided to meet at a fancy restaurant downtown. When I got there I saw her sitting with what turned out to be her parents. They made a huge scene, calling me a pedophile and a low-life. Apparently, the girl was 16 years-old. I'm 25. FML

Today, I begged my parents not to take me to a restaurant for my birthday, but sure enough, they took me to one, along with my siblings, aunts, uncles, you name it. Ordering with them is a nightmare, so after a whole half-hour the waiter still hadn’t gotten everyone’s complicated orders written down. FML

Today, it was my 18th birthday and I was told I couldn't get the night off work because a party of 34 had booked into the restaurant. It turned out my family had come in to 'celebrate' by making me wait on them. They were a nightmare, thought it was hilarious to be difficult, and didn't tip. FML

I'm 19, but I look 12. doesn't help that i'm "short n' cute", so i know all about that. Just smile! or make them feel bad about it, that's always funny. or leave a big mess. personally i'm more of a revenge getter

I got asked for ID at the liquor store two months ago. The lady thought I looked under 25 and asked for my ID as a precaution. I'm 41. Don't feel bad about looking young. I enjoyed getting Hallowe'en candy well into my teens.

Um,no offense or anything but how short are you? Maybe you are just a really young-looking person.I have the same issue,I can't stand it.I have dealt with it my entire life,but hey,when I am 30,I will still be looking 20.So I think it's an overall win at life.

That happened to me when I was 23, but I was out with a friend and his family. It was an order-off-the-sign place and we didn't realize the hostess' mistake until later, because his mom ordered the same thing as me and we didn't get the same thing.
