75 not a lawyer but my friend had been having issues with their niece... They took her in and were raising her and she was doing similar things going online and having really inappropriate conversations etc... My understanding of that situation is that the younger party if they have reached what is considered the age of consent is legally allowed to consent to sexual activity but that until 18 parents can still press statutory charges . Basically parents can actually approve of this type of behavior if the child is of a certain age we had a guy marry a 16 yo when I was in training in the military her parents signed all the needed consent forms she had been pretending to be 21 .... PROSTI-TOT I had a hard time deciding between FML and YDI until I realized that this 13 yo girl couldn't have possibly had much depth to her there should have been signs and unless you were intentionally looking for a meaningless encounter I can't help but think you must have seen some major red flags... I don't know any 13 yo who can have several conversations with a person 2x their own age and provide enough depth to be called "a wonderful woman" I just get the feeling that what you were looking for may have been an easy hookup or some such no offense intended but YDI
