Today, I went to a bar with some friends when my wife texted me asking where I was. Not wanting her to know I was at a bar, I told her I was still at work. She was sitting in the booth behind me. FML

Today, my wife's parents came over, insisting they saw me at the bar at 1:30 p.m., talked to me, and that I left with another woman. I was at work all day. I have no idea what they are talking about, I've never done this. My wife doesn't believe me. FML

Although you most definitely deserve it for lying I do feel she trapped you a little with a question like that. It's not exactly fair when someone knows an answer to a question and yet they still ask, maybe hoping for honesty or testing to see if you lie? Either way. YDI

Today, after 3 weeks of academic work and no partying, I went to a huge school party to have some fun. Hoping I would only see friends, I ended up having to sit and unconfortably eat between two of my ex girlfriends. Another one was in front of me on the other side of the table. FML

I don't see why you would lie about something like that. Unless, of course, you have a drinking problem. The truth is more often then not the best way to go.
